HDHI ProArgi-9+ Study

A recent ProArgi-9+ study, conducted at the High Desert Heart Institute in Victorville, CA, measured the effectiveness of L-arginine on lactic acid buildup during high-intensity exercise.

What is Lactic Acid?

Lactic acid, known as lactate, is a natural byproduct in the body when there is insufficient oxygen present during energy (ATP) synthesis. This is most noted by a burning sensation in the muscles during high-intensity exercise. This serves as a natural defense mechanism for the body, as it prevents permanent damage during extreme exertion where an oxygen deficit is present.

The presence of lactic acid in tissue leads to muscle fatigue and decreases muscle performance.

Study Design

Siva Arunasalam, M.D., President and attending cardiologist at the High Desert Heart Institute, selected a test group consisting of 10 healthy subjects, ranging from 22-60 years of age.

Hypothesis: If L-Arginine increases muscle blood flow, then there will be less lactic acid accumulation. The result of less lactic acid accumulation would therefore increase endurance and decrease muscle recovery time.

Study Results 

The results of the study were significant for healthy individuals who participate in vigorous, high-intensity exercise and consume ProArgi-9+ Active.

I Know a Better Way...

Down I went!

I went out to shovel snow in my parking lot at my studio. As I rounded the corner of the building, hidden just under the snow was some ice and down I went! The gravitational pull of the earth took over and I landed on my left hand and buttocks. I was a little surprised and quickly got up. I looked around to make sure no one was watching! If they were, they were gone now. I thought I was okay, so I got the shovel and shoveled the snow, threw salt on the ice, and with my pride hurt a little, I went back in my studio.

After finishing work we headed out to do some shopping. I started feeling the ache and pains in my back and my wrist.  I took a couple ibuprofen which I haven't had for about six months since taking ProArgi9+.

After Christmas shopping till midnight, I was feeling pretty sore. I got to bed as soon as I could.

I still drank my two scoops of ProArgi9+ morning and night.

I woke up this morning with no ill effects from the fall! Normally, I would be in pain for several days. I've got to attribute this in part to ProArgi9+ "Active".

I just seem to recover quicker when I have to do more physical labor than I usually do, such as shoveling my parking lot, etc.

Shoveling snow!

Update Monday, December 9, 2013:

My Personal Testimonial About - ProArgi9+ "E9" and "Active"

I dreaded the first snowfall that came this year.  When it snows all day on my studio parking lot, I have to go out and shovel it off. I did this three times as well as my home driveway and sidewalks.  Lee Edwards told me about ProArgi9+ “ACTIVE” and what it did for him deer hunting, and that you use it when you workout. Well, I never workout so I never used it. I just gave it away to potential clients to try.  Not today!  I mixed it with my ProArgi9+ “Citrus Berry” and I went to work.  The next day I tried to feel the pains of my labor and there was none! I jumped up and down trying to feel any effect from shoveling. NOTHING!! Really! I told everyone about it! My wife couldn’t believe it either. I didn’t give in that easy, the next couple of days was another snow storm. This time I tried another combination of ProArgi9+ “E9” and “Active” in the morning. I worked a little harder this time at shoveling the snow with the same results! Nothing! No pain, no backache. I'm even more sold on ProArgi9+. Ive got to try more of the products.
